The Challenge

Cement & The Climate Crisis

Somewhere between laying the foundation and handing over the keys, construction became one of the planet's biggest problems. Cement alone is responsible for roughly 8% of global CO₂ emissions, more than aviation and shipping put together. Most people don't know that. Most people building don't want to think about it.

We couldn't stop thinking about it. India is building faster than almost anywhere else on earth. New roads, new homes, new cities rising out of nothing. That's not a bad thing; it's necessary, it's overdue, and it's remarkable. But it comes with a cost that the atmosphere is already paying. And with urbanisation only accelerating, that cost isn't going to shrink on its own.

In 2014, we made a decision that shaped everything that came after it: we would only make products that were part of the answer. Not products that ignored the problem, not products that greenwashed around it, products that genuinely, measurably reduced cement consumption without asking builders to sacrifice an inch of structural performance.

That decision is still the one we make every morning.

How We Fight Global Warming

The Number Nobody Talks About

Every tonne of cement produced releases around 900kg of CO₂ into the atmosphere. Not from trucks carrying it. Not from the construction site using it. Just from making it. Multiply that by the billions of tonnes produced globally every year, and you have one of the largest industrial contributors to climate change on the planet — hiding in plain sight on every construction site, in every mix, in every pour.

What Our Products Actually Do

Durastrength and Microseal-C were formulated around one question: how much cement can we responsibly remove from a mix before structural performance starts to suffer? The answer, after years of research and field testing, was more than the industry expected. Our products allow builders and manufacturers to reduce cement consumption by 15 to 30% — without watching their compressive strength numbers drop, without changing their process beyond measure, and without gambling on the integrity of what they're building.

The Maths That Matters

One kilogram of cement saved is approximately one kilogram of CO₂ that never enters the atmosphere. That's not a metaphor — it's physics. Now take that across a single manufacturing unit running daily production. Across a mid-sized infrastructure project. Across thousands of contractors using Concrete Master across India. The number stops being small very quickly. This is how industries change — not through grand gestures, but through better decisions made consistently at scale.

Stronger and Greener
Not One or the Other

Here's what still surprises people when they first use our products: the concrete often comes out stronger, not just leaner. Reducing cement doesn't mean reducing performance — not when the chemistry is right. Better workability, improved durability, longer-lasting structures. And fewer emissions per cubic metre of concrete poured. That's not a compromise. That's just what good formulation looks like when it's built around the right values from the start.

Our Sustainability Commitments

Circular Thinking

In the design phase of our products, we take into account the entire lifecycle of the product, reducing any wastage during the manufacturing process while extending the lifetime of all constructions that use our chemicals.

CO₂ Reduction

Our fundamental purpose is that all our CONCRETE MASTER products help decrease the consumption of cement, thus decreasing CO₂ emissions right from their source.

Energy Efficiency

Products such as Aquafree Terrace Guard lower the temperature inside buildings, thus reducing the energy consumption of air conditioners. It is another step toward India's energy transition.
